How do I get my product on state term contract? You must provide technical information about your product and prepare a Business Case in order for the State to determine the viability of your product for inclusion on the list of products on a State Term Contract. The technical literature should be sufficient for the State to determine the functionality of the product and identify any support, maintenance, or compatibility issues. The Business Case should include: 1.a list of agencies that have expressed an interest in acquiring your product; 2.sales forecasts for the agencies; 3.the financial benefits the state would realize from using your product; 4. the technical, maintenance and/or support benefits the state would realize from using your products; 5. the sources of supply for your product; 6. the financial and/or technical risks the state might realize from using your product; 7. a brief history of your company; 8. three years of audited financial statements. Once the information is received, the Information Technology Management Office (ITMO) will review the information; forward a copy to the IT Planning section and possibly to the Enterprise Architecture Oversight Committee to determine if the product conflicts with any existing standards. If the State determines that this is a viable product for inclusion on the list of state term contracts, ITMO will prepare and issue a competitive solicitation and award a state term contract. How do I get myself or my company on an existing State Term Contract? State term contracts are created through formal solicitations. The only State term contract(s) that you can be added to during the term of the contract are “fixed price” State term contracts. These contracts can be downloaded from the following Internet site: http://cio.state.sc.us/fixed.htm. Simply fill out the bid and return all the requested information to the ITMO buyer listed on the front of the bid. For all other State term contracts, you must wait for the contract to be re solicited. What are the reporting requirements for contracts with the state of South Carolina? Once awarded a contract, all contract holders must follow the reporting procedures given below. Please refer to the Reporting Template Guide for details on using the reporting template.
